EPI has begun its research and development operation since 1992. EPI Environmental Technologies Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiaries (EPI Group of Companies) manufacture proprietary plastic compounds and additives for distributors, licensees and end-users, with primary focus on developing and marketing its range of environmentally friendly products.

EPI novel technology will cause plastic films to become brittle and disintegrate far more rapidly than normal. This technology - called TDPA^® or Totally Degradable Plastic Additives Technology - for the manufacture of plastic products formulated to degrade or decompose after use.
